Training when you are tired and got too much to do

This is the time of year that I usually take a break from exercise as it is a busy month. I feel shattered today and I think it could be with travelling a lot doing the school run, thankfully today is my son's last day of school before he goes back in January, and off for the Christmas holidays and boy it is flown so near that I can feel I can catch Christmas day in one hand.

I did have goals for this year, which was to get back walking and do more home workouts which i did but wanted a dancersize and boxing class I wanted to find and do, but didn't happen.

I feel a little disappointed in that, but I still kept with my workouts just not those. Having goals is beneficial to keep the energy of exercising regularly in place, but want to carry fitness goals over to the new year 2022.

I know that I will get those things in place, for me it does depend on when, and even if it doing exercise whilst my sons watching his tablet I will do some, and often if he sees me exercise he will join in.

As I carry on this blog whicb is now the end of the week, from when I began, I thought I was too tired to write this blog and do any writing but no, I am using the rest of my energy I have left to complete this blog as it is important to me that I do, and I did do a workout yesterday whilst looking after Henry.

Never train if you feel exhausted as it can be counterproductive and can be too much stress for your body and often working on the laptop whre I am sitting down a lot makes me do a workout and its when I have 10 minutes, I just make sure I continue to keep fit and healthy and so I walk a lot.

Walking is so easy and free to do, and so I training when tired I will when I get that burst of energy I get a workout done, and you can too.

Getting fit during the Winter and taking on different weathers

Hello and welcome to a new blog and in this blog I am talking about Getting fit during the winter and taking on different weathers, and I do still do my training and some years and because I don't do a massive routine of exercise in one session, it has allowed me to keep fit, but as I go about my everyday.

I do find when it is bitterly cold to get fit outdoors but I do, but when it would be icy in the Winter I would wait until late morning to get fit, but you can buy running trainers for Icy weathers, and they have more of a grip, but for me I never invested in this type of weather so would go for a run or walk when the temperature and services are clear of ice.

When it comes to snowing I will tend to leave it until the snow has cleared and not turned to ice, as this is dangerous and again you can buy trainers for snow, but for me I will wait until the snow has gone. I still walk through the snow, but running is off the cards for me.

I do wear a hat and scarf and like to layer up, and there are some good running tops you can buy so you don't need a load of layers and I bought mine when I had a thermal top from Amazon and they were cheaper compared to Sports Direct, which at one point was my go to store for running gear.

I like to have a good hat aswell and bought one last year in pink from Sports Direct and make sure when exercising outdoors this time of the year, it is during the day or if later or in the morning when it is still dark you have bright colours on for your own protection and others who will be driving or walking, and good to be seen than not.

I mention this a lot when it comes to keeping fit in the Winter, but that is because you do have to exercise safetly and so make you self seen and not, as you can cause an accident when doing so and keep head and feet warma s this is where we lose our body heat.

Getting fit Autumn and Winter as we get nearer to Christmas

Hello and sorry if you do not want to think about Christmas, but it isn't that far away.

I usually take a break from my fitness to restart at Christmas, and there is a lot of things I need to do before the festive time of cheer, and so it is important to organize your fitness when you too have a busy season, come Autumn and Winter, and have many birthday's to plan for.

This year I am not gonna take a break and September for me is a new year, as it is academically a new year so I go by that now and separate my year in to 4 quarters.

Lastnight I did some exercise as I do six to seven exercises and mixed, so one day I will do squats, leg raises, boxercise kicks and sometimes will do floor training, with my dumbbells and use my own body strength.

When it comes to clothes I wrap myself up and use layers, and make sure my trainers and other footwear are comfortable and good for walking as I walk a lot, and the thing I would invest is a thermal vest and walking bottoms. I do wear leggins almost everyday but sometimes these can rub, so if you do long distant walks or runs, invest in a good think pair of running bottoms.

If you go out like I did once upon a time, in the autumn and winter when the sun begins to rise, run with glasses or goggles for when the sunlight rises as it shines quite bright, but can effect your view. Layer up as it can be very cold still being up at the crack of dawn.

Make sure you are hydrated even when it is cold outside, and remember to cool down afterwards and stretch.

In the autumn and winter wear clothes that you can be easily seen by cars and other people using the footpaths and pavements.

Never let your guard down and run in busy areas and not where you can be vulnerable like parks and woodlands, but in town like areas and places. When running in the early morning or late evening, I never listened to headphones, as you should keep your witts about you and only do what you can and build up gradually.

Wear hats I wear a beanie when it gets really cold and even a scarf.

So I bope this blog helps you and many thanks for reading,

Using fitness equipment and safely

When it comes to keeping fit there are many things that can really help and one is a Cross Trainer. These work the entire body, legs, bottom and for arms the rowing machine. These were my favourites. I did used to own an home one, but no longer, but is worth investing if you really gonna definitely use it.

Then I disovered a step machine and loved it. Great to use to tone the body and I would at one point using everytime I went to the gym and is a great piece of equipment. If I were to have a home gym again, this would be an item I'd deffnitley buy.

I also like the treadmill, and if you are taking up running, but be aware it is different when using a treadmill to running outside. Treadmills when on the right mode can help when running outdoors, in terms of building your fitness, as if new this is the place to start is to up your fitness first and then add different things into a workout, to then work on toning, muscle building, but gradually.

At the moment I use dumbell, wrist and ankle weights and a exercise mat. This still helps me with exercise and I have written a new blog on my other site: https://sportsandfitnesspassion.wordpress.com

If you like to try out different workouts it is good to learn from others who are qualified to teach about exercise and make sure get the technique right to prevent any injuries.

When it comes to using equipment then always follow instructions, but this is where joining a gym to start off, is good and having training staff to show you. There are great ones for arms, legs and full body, like the pull down machines and lateral press. They work for the entire top half of the body and try each one but safely and if they do an induction take them up on it, for your own safety.

So keep getting fit and active and it is worth while when you do find the equipment you love using.

Working On My Fitness Routine

Hello and welcome! This blog is about Working on my fitness routine, as I have tried many and I have now started training in the mornings again doing 6 exercises, and this is with my dumbbells and exercising my legs through doing leg raises and have been walking too.

I do like exercise otherwise I wouldn't do it. Yet have had to take some time off from training as its been the Summer Holidays, yet this has helped me stay fit also.

You may have to adapt exercising to your life as life takes over, but as soon as I go back into it, I do enjoy and see it as my time to wake myself up and doing in the morning again, helps to make sure it is done and then I can go about my day, and then spend time walking and visiting my local or other places.

Once you get a good routine to exercise it's sticking to it and that is by mixing it, I have before now done some exercise in the evening, but at the moment I want to continue doing morning workouts as I find it helps me accomplish more and then I can do more through the day if I feel like it.

Try different times and schedule it in, so you have it there and do some finally to then tick off to plan to do more on other days.

Life can be tiring especially when you have children but I have exercised when looking after my son and he would often copy me, and so you can get them involved and getting it done whilst they are a sleep is a good idea, but not always possible.

Just find your stride and I have written on other platforms about fitness check out my site:

Loving my walks in the day/Measuring my steps

I am loving my walks I am doing each day, it really helps give me a lot of energy and I have seen the difference. I am a lot more flexible and yesterday was a long walk I hadn't done in a long time, to a park which is a good walk, but the longest one I have done in a while and it really helps me get a good nights sleep.

Walking I get from my Dad and my Mum as we as kids would walk from Putney to our flat in Hammersmith, which was in a Peabody Estate on the Fulham Palace Road.

So it something I have since a kid and looking forward in exploring one my favourite parks Battersea and then Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens.

If you don't want to work on your own then see if a friend would like to go for a walk, and if you work in an office, use your lunch breaks to walk, I often would do this and felt good for doing so. I find it helps with concentration and is a good habit that I can do that will never break the purse strings and can inspire others to walk too.

It is all about being healthy and getting some good vitamin D.

Build your fitness to better yourself/Personal Development

Hello and welcome, so I have done another two lots of walking today, and so can you. I even spending time in a mental health hospital still exercised as they had a Activity Co-ordinator so you don't spend ages in your room all the time, and even did a walk they would do and it was so good to get outside, and so now I am going out walking in the morning and in the afternoon. I am really feeling the benefits of doing that.

Building my fitness helps me to feel better within myself and helps with creativity and raising my energy levels. I am no longer suffering from fatigue and just setting time for me is so important. I am loving my morning and afternoon walks. It is good to be in touch with nature and seeing other people enjoying the sunshine too.

I even saw a fitness club take part in the gardens today, where I walk, and a lot of people to train outdoors now. So if you don't fancy doing that why not train out in your garden instead. I even managed and indoor workout today too. It doesn't have to too many exercise but just enough that helps keep you awake.

I like to get my workouts during morning and daytime, because then I can properly unwind in the evening, and I have even been sleeping better. I am on a sleeping tablet, but for once I don't get that drowsy feeling anymore, so I am on good medication for my mental health, but using it to be back into daily exercise.

So what have you been doing to keep fit, I did have video about how exercise can be your bestfriend so check out my youtube channel where I talk about my fitness a lot, and on a budget. I no longer use a gym as I do found them expensive. I like training at home and outdoors, but I would like to at some point find a boxing club to help get fit.

It is important that you enjoy it, and if you aren't feeling the benefits, then it means you need to look for another form of exercise for you to feel the benefits.

So I wish you good luck in getting fit and active and please share how you have gotten into exercise. You can leave a comment below.

Walking 15 minutes a day is still exercise

I am loving being outdoors again and today being FA cup final day wanted to go for my 15 minute walk I like to do a week along with some exercise in the week and at the weekend, is great way to still stay in shape, and having not to worry about food, as I at the moment get it for nothing has really been a game changer.

I now am thinking of going once a year to a health retreat to help me stay in shape too and when I can have more time outdoors I have found a boxing gym near by and want to do a dancersize workout each week too.

It is good to have fitness goals and on Wednesday I attend a fitness class in the afternoons where I am staying at the moment, and that is great for me.

Having a good fitness routine is key for me and I will be at some point going to go outside with my fitness mat and do some training again outdoors, and really want to focus getting into shape once again.

The one thing I miss is weights but I can use other items I am sure when it comes to working out, like a football or a bottle of water.

For me it has to help me stretch and unwind and I'm even gonna get up today and exercise.

So lets all just get there and get fit.

Two Youtube videos/when you don't feel like exercising/How to trick yourself

 Hello and welcome!Happy Monday!

Here are two videos back to back, that I did this weekend, Saturday night and Sunday, and I was not in the mood Saturday night but go in the mindset of not wanting to do any, but I still did. I often have to trick myself.

So the first video was me comtemplating by fooling myself that I would only do 5 mins and that was it, and how I feel unmotivated to do any,

The Second video is an update to tell you if I did do some exercise in the end and I did, and I talk more about how I have tricked myself to get fit and just saying "I'll do half hour" but I end up doing an hour is a great way to get fit, and taking away the pressure and the inner voice that I would get if I didn't do any exercise.

I really hope that these videos help you and I will be posting more. If you would also like to check out my other fitness site then go to: https://carriesrealfitness.vpweb.com

Set the timer on 7 minutes to exercise

Hello! There was a time when I hatd exercise when I was at Secondary school as we had to run around the school and do the beep test and I hated it. I wanted to do whatever it took not to do these two activities as I was not that kind of girl.

Looking back I see that actually in some areas I did cause I loved playing any sport, so it was whatever made exercise not to be a chore but something to enjoy.

I now do 2-3 7 minute workouts each week and I do a mixture, but I have to make sure I get some done, set the timer on my phone to do a good workout within that time of 7 minutes and it really is a great way to make sure you get it in.

I would often on a Sunday go on a Sunday run and I loved it, I will soon be going on walks again as I like to fit this in too, but I am in the process of changing where I live and would like to have a home gym again as this can save you money and a place where you can put on some music or a TV, to get some exercise in the week completed but again, isn't hardwork but what will benefit me mentally and physically.

It can come to the weekend when I fit in some exercise but I don't worry about that I just focus on, when I get the erge to do some I get on with it and do a workout, I stop the guilt. Always listen to your body and you'll know when it wants exercise or when it doesn't.

I hope you have a good week ahead and honestlyif you haven't made any life changes at the start of the year, its never to late to make changes now.

I don't believe in quick fixes when it comes to fitness

Hello and welcome! So I remember back in the 80's when Rosemary Ford, was the woman when it came to keep in shape and dieting, and then you had the woman on TV AM, and Mr Motivator.

Now, we have many a Fitness Instructor and nutrition enthusiasts and professionials.

There was always those who would make fitness be like the mircale cure, by the "Next best thing in fitness", like I bought a ABs cycle it think it was called, and honestly I used it about 5 times and that was it.

As far as I am concern there is no quick fixes in exercise, but it doesn't have to seen like a chore, which many of us, me included at time, saw it as.

It doesn't have to be running or doing jumping jacks, even though that is a good exercise it can be whatever exercise you love doing, and now we have the joy of the internet there is so much more on offer when it comes to working out.

You don't even have to train everyday, I don't but doing 2-3 workouts a week it still survicive so just go on YOUTUBE and there are loads on there. I would never fault gyms as for me it was a great help, but as we are in Lockdown, not possible for many of us.

So have a great Sunday and see you in the next blog on this site.

I have filmed another fitness video today talking about Keeping fit at the weekends

When You Get Knocked down get up again and say "Leave me alone I'll live my life as i WISH TO"

Hello and welcome! So this evening I was building my new other fitness site, called Carries Real Fitness, and decided to do a home workout my own and I have had a bit of bother with some people trying to bully and knock me down.

I bet there are those reading this saying "Me too" so should we stop and give them the time they want? Well yeah but in a way that says "I know I am true to myself, you can stick with your judgement, but honestly your negativity drives me to succeed even more rather be where you want me to be in the gutter".

Noone has the righr to try to put someone in the gutter, who is doing good. Those who bully and are abusive do, as they are those who have a pop at someone else, because they know how to build a better life and they don't. People who are knarky and negative, will always be that way, as the get off on knocking people down. They feel justified because you do things that they would never do; only because they wouldn't know where to start.

So if you want to get fit, do for you and yes put yourself first for a change and if they don't wanna believe in you, let them think that and prove them wrong by not entertain them and keep going.

Getting fit is about looking after yourself, so do it and don't let those destroy your love for wanting to love you.

Everyone has the right to be happy so go for it and I wish you all the luck in the world.

Exercise when you have time and not when you don't

I love exercise, but without the pressure of "I got to done some" and I do exercise when I want to, not false it upon when I don't. th

It is important to be in the right mindset, but I now just do 7 minutes and for me that is enough. If I feel like I want to do more then, yeah I will, but falsing it upon me never works.

Will I show another workout? Yes I will, but I am like many, not yeah confident enough to do so, yet I know I will, and I do a cross between uising dumbbells to doing a floor workout.

If you haven't got an exercise mat, then you can use a towel, but often these will move and scrunch up, so invest in a mat, and I will do, crunches x3 sets for 12 reputitions, along with size leg raises again both legs x3 or x2 for 21 repititons, and then press ups, x3 sets 12 repititions and then I may do some back leg raises as I call them.

Here is a workout that tried out on Youtube which is called Beginners 7 minute workout, for  7 days:

Youtube is my go to platform, where I find good home workouts and have started to put some into a playlist, that I would like try.

So, what are waiting for? Just do 7 min workouts and try doing it between 2-3 times a week.

Many thanks reading,
